Cranberry SauceServes/Makes: 8
- 170g (6oz) cranberries
- 170g (6oz) granulated sugar
- 2tbsp port
- 250ml (½pt) water
- Put the sugar in a pan with the water, and allow it to dissolve slowly.
- Bring the sugar and water to the boil, and boil for 5 minutes.
- Add the port and cranberries, and simmer for 15 minutes.
- Allow to cool completely, then serve with roast turkey or roast pork.
