Cranberry Sauce
Serves/Makes: 8
Ingredients
  • 170g (6oz) cranberries
  • 170g (6oz) granulated sugar
  • 2tbsp port
  • 250ml (½pt) water
Method
  • Put the sugar in a pan with the water, and allow it to dissolve slowly.  
  • Bring the sugar and water to the boil, and boil for 5 minutes.  
  • Add the port and cranberries, and simmer for 15 minutes.  
  • Allow to cool completely, then serve with roast turkey or roast pork.
